This website was made for Spac3 Colony company, under the brand Kanekin. It was probably my most challenging project because the deadline was only one week. But I ask my friend to design the website for me so I am only working on the 'coding' part. It was my first experience in developing a website but also thinking about the performance. I usually don't have to think about the website's performance because I never used any heavy-weighted library. In this website I used Three.js library for the 3D Model Logo and I used tsparticles to make it more 'space-y' vibe. Both of them individually is not heavy but when it combined it caused a major lack of performance.
The tool I used to check the performance of the website was Lighthouse and it said that my website had a poor performance in Time to Interactive. This problem was caused by the time of loading the particles and the 3D Model. I had difficulties in fixing this problem. But soon I found the solution that is using React Lazy. It can help me 'lazy-load' just the things that are currently needed by the user. This was new for me and because of this problem. It helps me to improve my website development skills and knowledge.
